Territory Sales Delivery Merchandiser
JOB TITLE: Territory Sales Merchandiser (TSM)
DIVISION: Deli Express Direct Store Sales (DSS)
REPORTS TO: Region Operations Supervisor

POSITION DISCRIPTION:
The Deli Express Territory Sales Merchandiser delivers product to stores over an established route or via dispatch to regular customers including convenience stores and retail outlets. The TSM safely operates and maintains the company vehicle. The TSM is responsible for "keeping the shelves full" by ordering, rotating and stocking product on store displays. Builds displays and updates point of sale promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners. The TSM generates invoices using a hand held computer and printer. The TSM is responsible for daily settlement of cash and charges. The position requires professional interaction with store personnel and management.

BUSINESS CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Service every stop
Follow Standard Delivery
Achieve assigned Sales Plan goal
Communicate the Hand Held daily

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow food safety requirements, including properly code dating, rotating and pulling product
Responsible for submitting all cash and checks as scheduled via the ATM deposit policy
Replace sales equipment as needed
Merchandise displays as necessary
Maintain company vehicle within PMI guidelines
Responsible for managing product inventories (orders, transfers, loads and load preparation)
Verifies that product orders are accurate within 24 hours of delivery from EP
Maintain a professional appearance in the company uniform
Comply with all DOT regulations
Cooperate with all aspects of the AWAIR safety program at E. A. Sween Company
Successfully complete the mandatory E. A. Sween Quarterly Safety Training
Complete 5S on a weekly basis
Check voice mail 3 times a day
Send in weekly paperwork in a timely manner
Attend company meetings as required

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work a minimum of 45 hours per week
Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a company DOT vehicle
Not more than one moving traffic violation in the last 12 months or three moving violations in the last three years.
Valid drivers license in the state you reside
Must be able to repetitively lift/carry up to 75 pounds
Must be able to push/pull up to 250 pounds
Able to bend, turn, twist, reach, pull and push
Must be able to work in a widely varying temperature environment
Must be willing to travel overnight with company reimbursement if required
Must be able to pass DOT physical, drug screen, back ground check and MVR
Basic math skills
